Jeannette joined the travel industry in 1972 and has followed her passion for travel. From luxury cruises, couch tours, road trips, train travel, to adventure travel (including camels, donkeys, trucks and elephants as the form of transportation) let her assist you with your most exotic destinations and dream vacations.
Mark Twain's quote "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” is Jeannette's mantra. Don’t put off that vacation until next year, get out there and travel now!
Her extensive travels have taken her to all the continents with the exception of Antarctica. When asked about a favourite destination she’s often stumped because every where and every type of travel has its merits. But when pressed for an answer Turkey, the Galapagos and Africa are always mentioned. Recent adventures to India, Bali and a cruise on the Danube River are also high on her list now. And don't forget CRUISES!
Jeannette has lived in Sooke for many years and with her husband Peter she has raised two daughters on the family farm. She is actively involved with the Rotary of Sooke and the Sooke Harbour Chamber of Commerce.

Kim joined the Wood Travel and Cruise team in 2001. Before that she had worked in the industry in Calgary for five years.
Kim loves to travel and has been to Hawaii, Disneyland, Las Vegas and many other places in the USA. Internationally she’s been to Mexico, Guatemala, Grand Cayman, Domincan Republic, Turks & Caicos, China, the UK, Ireland, and toured through much of Europe.
Specializing in Hawaii, Disneyland, Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, and Domincan Republic as well as family travel. We call Kim our "Disney Queen" as she loves Disneyland and has a vast knowledge of what to see and how to see it! She speaks Spanish as all her family is from Mexico!
Thinking of a cruise? Kim has sailed with Princess, Norwegian, Holland America and Celebrity.
One of Kim's favorite journeys was to Fiji and looks forward to sharing her knowledge of this serene, friendly and safe destination.
